I wear these everywhere, they have a goodly weight and beautiful drape. I have hip-pones - those fleshy parts on the outside of the upper thigh- and these lay smoothly over hips and pones, and I feel great in them. We will be carrying these year round, wear them in summer with sandals and winter with boots.
Model is 5'9" and size Medium. The pants hang lower on her hip, on a 2X the pants are at natural waistline.
